Tried uninstalling, clearing data, reinstalling, unmounting and remounting SD card... This error occurs abruptly and will not even allow you to create new notes or use any features of Evernote. Hopefully there is a fix? I'm using Android 2.3.4 on LG P970 (Optimus Black) I have to delete the Evernote folder, logout and login again to "solve" it.
If I do this, and go with the old version (3.x.x), everything works fine. page I connected phone to PC (as USB Storage, so you can see you card as a drive in Window) and fix problem by checking drive. Other apps are successful in accessing the card, both reading & writing.
