The only other thing that I can think of that you might be running into is having the sata plugged in backwards. Since it worked fine before I removed it from the Asus board it had been powering. The strange thing is that every one of the ram sticks worked in the old Asus board when I tried them out one by one. If it continues to cycle please reseat the memory however this time, firmly wiggle the memory into the DIMM slots. my guess would be something shorting, and the PSU made an unhappy face and went BOOM. so Slot 0 BLUE is possibly DOA..
