You could try merging them in FTMM2, but I didn't have good luck with that. I replaced the drive and the new one died. All I want is to have my ancestry.com tree back to the way it was the morning of December 4th. I downloaded the update this evening, July 20, and while it is finally online, it continually tells me my username and password are incorrect and refuses to log in. Migration - there is no useful or up-to-date info on migrating from PC (FTM 2012) to MAC (FTM 2). Speaking of results, I seem to have pretty much found the limits of what ancestry can reveal about the ancestors I'm most interested in.

I can only hope you change your mind and keep the ability to sync our now obsolete FTM to the ancestry.com public tree. Jim d July 22, 2012 at 10:12 am Still not on line. If both the FTMM2 and ancestry tree contain new or changed information (even though the information is entirely different and different people) there will be a sync error.
