Yes the 1.4 and unoffical 1.41 both came after the 64 bit *upgrade* so the 64 bit is stuck at 1.3. If you must have the 64 bit patch, you can find it by Googling crymod and 64 bit patch. I also have the 5 cd original game from 2004 and it worked for me. 64 bit OS was not a problem. You could always try it :) but why all the difficulty if you can just press "+add game" and choose "add a NON steam game", then just add the far cry Or so I'm beginning to conclude. The only solution that i found was to run the patches in the order i specified. But bloody hell, surely it looks incredible on maximum details.

Add the AMD 64 pack5. Videos, Streams and Fan-Art! Would it be possible for you to hightlight exatly what is changed, maybe upload some screen shots please of your game. Inside the game, it says 1.4, but you run into issues fixed in previous patches.
